A few of my favourite things
Summer hiatus? Not in my calendar, because this year I will be performing at the Salzburger Festspiele for the very first time! Over the course of the next months I'll be involved in three projects with the Utopia Ensembles led by Theodor Currentzis: First an a-capella program centered around Györgi Kurtág's "Songs of despair and Sorrow". After that a full production of Bizet's "Carmen" at the Großes Festspielhaus with the premier on July 26th. And lastly two performances of a piece that never ceases to move and amaze me: Brahms' "Ein Deutsches Requiem", which we will be performing in Salzburg and in Bremen.
