Spring highlights
After a freezing winter I am more then ready for a spring full of highlights! First up: The production Nurejew by Staatsballett Berlin at Deutsche Oper. This opulent, genre-bending mix of classical ballett, modern dance, spoken and musical theatre tells the life story of legendary dancer Rudolf Nurejew. Cancelled in Russia for use of LGBTQ+ related themes this amazing work of art is now being resurrected in Berlin. The premier is on March 21st followed by 11 more shows until the end of April.
Around easter it's time for Bach's passions! I have two performances coming up that I am really excited about: St. John's Passion on March 20th with Lauttencompagney Berlin and a perfomance of the monumental St. Matthew Passion on good friday in Saalfeld with Märkisch Barock. I literally cannot wait!
